Federal Minister of Education and Research Annette Schavan and Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg Stefan Mappus: Ulm receives new Helmholtz Institute for Battery Research (November 26th, 2010). Research facility starts as a branch of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in January 2011. Ulm University is a cooperation partner, associated partners are the DLR and the ZSW.
