Research Areas
In order to underpin the HIU's claim to develop batteries for the future and to align research with this goal, the scientists at the HIU work in five research areas. In this way, the research groups efficiently bundle their competencies in each of the five fields. Above all, the interdisciplinary nature of research brings the HIU a significant step closer to the goal of developing safer, more cost-effective, more sustainable and more powerful batteries.
